Interactive Mediums’ systems process millions of messages per month therefore the performance and availability of our system is of critical importance to client satisfaction. Our data center employs the latest in fault tolerance, high availability, security and on demand scalability to ensure client programs never experience unexpected or unplanned downtime.
To ensure high availability, our data center partner Rackspace employs redundant hardware and software environments which are synched in real time and can be switched back and forth manually or autonomously in “lights out mode” to perform routine scheduled or unplanned maintenance. Our environment is also maintained redundantly real time in an off-site data center, which is highly secured and ensures consistent service levels even in the event of a catastrophe.
The high availability attributes of our data center include:

- Dedicated cooling system for the clustered environment

Geographic redundancy is maintained as follows in the event of an unplanned outage:
- Backup and retention/storage
- Data and Object replication
- Application recovery/rollback
- Server recovery on demand
With regard to data:
- Production databases (transactional and statistical) are replicated in real time
- Production databases are backed up off offsite on a nightly basis
- All data is secure with access controls in place to prevent unauthorized access
